Smith Burger Co got its start as a family-owned smash burger food truck that quickly became a local favorite across Central Illinois. Their handcrafted burgers, made fresh to order, have helped the business earn repeated recognition — including being voted the #1 food truck in the area by the News-Gazette People’s Choice Poll for five straight years.
Over time, the Smith family expanded beyond the food truck. They now have dine-in outposts inside Collective Pour in Downtown Champaign and at The Yard on Broadway in Urbana, where guests can enjoy burgers, sandwiches, sides, and more in a full-service setting.

The new Mahomet location is planned for Downtown Mahomet later this year, taking over the space formerly occupied by Chophouse on Main. According to reports, the restaurant will feature:
